The active ingredient in these tablets is diclofenac diethylammonium pentylenes d2+ (diclofenac diethylammonium) d1.
Diclofenac diethylammonium pentylenes d2+ d1 are both non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and lower blood pressure. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are also used to reduce swelling and inflammation (such as in osteoarthritis and arthritis) and to relieve the discomfort of joint pain. The diclofenac diethylammonium salt d1 is non-greasy and is suitable for children and pets.
The tablets are safe for continuous treatment, and every dosage is suitable for both adults and children.

Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets are not suitable for short-term treatment of acute inflammation or pain. If you have acute inflammation or pain, or if you have a history of these conditions, Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets may not be suitable for you. If you experience worsening muscle or back pain, persistent pain, or persistent inflammation, stop taking Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets and ask your doctor about alternatives. Alternatives may be available; alternative doses, treatment duration, and dosage frequency may all depend on your health condition and other factors.
Ask your doctor before using Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets if you are using the NSAID with a low fat content ( like in a low-fat diet) as it may cause an over-the-counter alternative to be ineffective. You should not take Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets if you have over-the-counter access to low-fat foods, or if you do not have access to a low-fat diet. You should avoid using Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets if you are taking or have recently taken any other drug. Before using this medicine tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, using, or within your already narrow medical range or if you have any new or worsening diseases.
Precautions
Do not take Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Tell your doctor if you have any other allergies. Other NSAIDs may cause diclofenac diethylammonium pentylenes d2+ toxicity.
Tell your doctor before taking Voltaren Rapid 12.5 tablets if you have liver or renal problems and are taking any medicines, including: medicines known to affect liver and/or kidney. These may affect the medicine in your medicine box. Your doctor may want to look into carrying out a medical test before taking this medicine, especially if you have a family history of liver or kidney problems. Do not take this medicine if you have severe kidney or liver problems. Do not use in patients with a known sensitivity to diclofenac.
